How often should I clean my Ball Python enclosure? - ball python enclosure
Depending on the size of the box, and the size of your python .... I could give you a better answer if I knew these facts.
Thoroughly clean any visible signs of sewage in the tank when you see it, should cocomut substrates such as bark good for about 3-4 months, while Aspen will be replaced at least every 2-3 months.
If you use something a little deeper, such as regular maintenance, then it must be replaced if it is dirty.
If using reptile carpet, then you should buy a spare part to replace the dirt. If we wash the dirty and do all again the next time you're dirty.
Complete disassembly and cleaning of the box should be made at least three times per year (approximately every four months).

I would say that every week. If eliminated, dirt, but generally clean the cage every weekend. Shop and replace any that this process can take hours, but worth it, snake healthy. What I do is empty the cage and rub it all (and the water basket and hide) with Clorox disinfecting wipes and rinse with water, dried, put in new beds and voila!
ReplyDeleteThere are many opinions on cleaning the cage, I would like to see more responses if I you feel.
Also, if you have the snake a disease such as decay scale, you need to clean the cage every day.
